tips to care for overexercised body?

A D V E R T I S E M E N T

ok so im 14 and i do kendo, weight training, and track. apparently, according to my doctor ive been exercising my body too much to the point where my joints are getting messed up, my muscles cramp up frequently, and am tired all the time. also, he says my back is real bad because of stress and that i am overstressed. so my doctor says i cant do activities like running, any kind of weight training, of anything with snappy movements or straining joints for several weeks. so if someone can advise me with any exercise that i can do even while waiting for my body to recover that would be great. any tips will work. thank you.

  3. You should probably not do any exercises while waiting for your body to recover. But if you really think you have to then I suggest, with no education in this matter, that you do exercises that aren’t hard on your back and joints like sit-ups, push-ups, curls, crunches, weight lifting, etc. You can though exercise muscles while resting. Try tighting and releasing each muscle while you are watching TV and sitting. Like Range Of Motion exercising.

I hope I was of some help and hope that you get better quick.
